MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL (11/21/2024)—Clarivate’s annual Highly Cited Researchers list identifies the top 0.1% of approximately 7 million researchers worldwide. In 2024, the list features 6,636 researchers from over 1,200 institutions across 59 countries and regions, representing both academia and industry.
This year, three researchers affiliated with the Midwest Antiviral Drug Discovery (AViDD) Center were honored: Dr. Fang Li, endowed chair professor at the University of Minnesota; Dr. Stanley Perlman, endowed chair professor at the University of Iowa; and Dr. Lanying Du, distinguished university professor at Georgia State University.
Additionally, 27 researchers from the University of Minnesota, home to the Midwest AViDD Center, were named to this prestigious list, including three members of Dr. Fang Li’s lab in the Department of Pharmacology: Dr. Fang Li, Dr. Jian Shang, and Dr. Yushun Wan.
